What we collect
Name and email address: when you join a membership, sign up to our newsletter or contact us.
Payment details: processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
Account and membership details: your plan, payment history and login.
Messages: what you share in the community chat or contact form.
Website usage: basic analytics and cookies through Squarespace.
Why we use it
To provide your membership and member area (contract)
To send service emails, such as welcome and payment emails (contract)
To send our newsletter, only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time through the unsubscribe link (consent)
To reply to your enquiries (legitimate interest)
To meet legal and accounting duties (legal obligation)
Who we share it with
Only trusted providers that help us run our services: Squarespace (website, membership and email), Stripe (payments), Minnit (community chat) and Google Workspace (email). We never sell your data.
How long we keep it
Membership and payment records are kept for as long as required for tax and accounting purposes, usually six years. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, delete or move your data, or object to how we use it, by emailing connect@tajanamanjoo.com. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
